Ceramic Coatings

Ceramic coatings are the best form of long term paint protection especially for vehicles in Far North Queensland with the harsh sun. Ceramic coatings provide UV protection, chemical resistance, hydrophobic properties, self-cleaning behaviours, and adds an enhanced glossy look to your paint.

All ceramic coating jobs include paint correction prior to applying the coating to get the most out of your vehicle's paint. For more information, any questions, or for any quotes please get in contact or give us a call.

  • How does a ceramic coating work?
A ceramic coating acts as another layer of skin that bonds to the clear coat on your vehicle. Ceramic coatings are only 1-2 microns thick so they do not have the ability to protect your paint from scratches however they can prevent marring, light swirls, and protect your paint from all of nature's elements, plus they look absolutely incredible once installed. The process of a proper installation takes time and resources which requires us to keep your vehicle for at least 24 hours to ensure the installation and curing process has no interruptions. The time taken varies for each product and for the condition of the vehicle.
  • What is included when I book in for one of the C6 ceramic coatings?
When you choose the C6 coating your vehicle receives the following: - Exterior wash and decontamination - Paint correction to remove minor defects and shine up the paint as much as possible - Glass polished - Ceramic coating applied to paint, glass, lights, wheels, and exterior trim
  • What makes C6 Ceramics a lifetime coating?
Most ceramic coatings fail due to fracturing overtime but C6 Ceramics contains Silicon Nitride and refined detonated nano diamonds which is unique to the C6 line of professional coatings. Due to their uniform size distribution, the refined detonated nano diamonds integrate perfectly with the C6 coating's flexible silicon nitride ceramic and other components. Therefore, as long as the coating is maintained properly via out maintenance guide, your C6 coating will last the life of your vehicle.
  • What is unique about C6 Ceramics?
DIAMONDS! No, seriously. Because of the chemistry and elements involved within the C6 Coatings, cheaping out is not an option. The main reason for the price involves the refined detonated nanodiamonds and silicon nitride which are quite uncommon and not usually found in other ceramic coatings on the market. Because of this we also have to include an extra step in the installation to make sure the installation goes smoothly and bonds to the vehicle's clear coat properly.
