This black & blue metallic Ford Everest came in with one of the worst condition paint jobs we have ever seen. This car is only a 2018 model yet the paint thickness level was reading incredibly low at an average of 48 microns. We discovered that the paint had been previously sanded back somewhere in its life in a non-professional manner. We performed a full wash, chemical and mechanical decontamination, very light 1 step correction which was mostly just polishing, and installed a ceramic coating on the paint. The vehicle's paint was so scratched up and swirled that you couldn't even tell it was metallic beforehand. We brought back the shine and metallic flake in the paint as well preserving it for as long as possible.
